Kia Rio

The Rio is the sensible all-rounder of our sedan line, a little sharper and more city-minded than its stablemates. It threads through Bavaro traffic easily, tucks into tight spots at the market, and still has the legs for a relaxed run out to Cap Cana. Five seats, a usable boot, and an automatic that keeps things simple make it a favorite for couples and small families who want comfort without the bulk. On the highway it holds its own, steady and unbothered at cruising speed. We bring it to the hotel door or the airport with insurance done, from $25 a day. Good manners, low running costs, and nothing you have to fight with on your first day driving here.
