Hyundai H-1

The H-1 is a proper nine-seat van, the workhorse I send out when a whole group lands together and wants one vehicle for the week. All nine seats are usable, and the diesel engine means long runs to Santo Domingo or the airport cost less to fuel than you would expect. There is luggage room behind the back row for a real group's bags, and the tall, square body makes loading easy at the resort. It is big, so take your time in tight Bavaro parking, but on the open Coral Highway it settles into a relaxed, economical cruise. We deliver it to your hotel or PUJ with insurance included, from $90 a day. The sensible answer for large families and friend groups travelling together.
